Eco-Immersion & Wild-Crafted Medicinal Mushrooms 2.0

When: Sunday August 10th 12:00pm-5:00pm

Where: Coquitlam (you will get exact location after registration)

At this event, we will learn how to deepen our connection to the local ecosystem and begin to energetically and physically impart the protective and nourishing qualities of nature into our physiology. I will be going over 5 medicinal mushrooms and their uses.

The location is a beautiful epic forest in North Coquitlam, along the Coquitlam River, under 10 minutes driving time from Coquitlam Center Mall.

Please be dressed for the weather, bring plenty of water and a snack to share with the group which you can inform others of exact ingredients so we can be mindful of any food allergies, sensitivities, or preferences.

If the weather is nice, the trails in this area are excellent for bare foot hiking!

During the afternoon you will:

-discover to identify some common plants and trees which helps to ID fungi
-learn how to harvest and prepare these mushrooms
-understand their medicinal properties
-have the chance to forage for wild berries
-get the opportunity for a swim in the falls or river
-receive a copy of all notes from the workshop for later reference
-learn strategies for obtaining an abundant reishi harvest
-get recommendations on selecting a medicinal mushroom extract or supplement

This workshop is suitable for those who:

-are interested in creating their own tonic mushroom medicines
-would like to deeply connect to the local ecology
-already take mushrooms extracts but would like to witness them in nature
-want to learn some of the local plants and trees
-are looking to build their toolkit of health protocols
